10 Minute Files
10 Minute Files is a lightweight temporary file-hosting service. Upload a file, get a short link, and share it instantly. Each link lasts for 10 minutes, after which the file is permanently deleted. It's a fast, disposable way to share files without leaving anything behind.
10 Minute Files isn't backed by a corporation or sponsor. It's just something I built
because I miss the old version of the internet where simple tools existed just because someone
thought they should. 10 Minute Files was built with no tracking, no dark patterns, no "growth strategy",
and no way to monetize your usage. It's just a lightweight service that does one thing well and
stays out of your way.
I run 10 Minute Files out of my own pocket because I believe the internet once thrived because of
projects like this. If you find the service helpful or appreciate the philosophy behind it, there's

By uploading a file to 10 Minute Files, you are agreeing to the following terms.

10 Minute Files does not retain any files after their expiration period.
Once a file expires, it is securely erased and cannot be recovered.
For debugging, security, and service-quality purposes, we may
collect limited metadata about uploads, including but not limited to:
• File name
• IP addresses associated with the upload or download
• Ephemeral download key (e.g. BGGJQHM5)
• File extension & encoding
• File Size
• Number of times the file was downloaded
No file contents are retained after expiration.
Uploaded files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted 10 minutes after upload. Once a file expires, it cannot be recovered or re-downloaded. We do not keep backups or copies of expired files.
You agree not to upload, share, or distribute any content that:
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Infringes on copyrights or other intellectual property rights
• Is abusive, harassing, or intended to harm others
• Violates privacy rights, including doxxing or unauthorized personal data
• Is illegal under applicable laws
• Attempts to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service
• Attempts to bypass file expiration or access controls
We reserve the right to block users or remove content that violates these rules.
10 Minute Files takes reasonable measures to secure uploaded files and associated metadata during their short lifespan. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee a bsolute protection against unauthorized access, data breaches, or other security incidents. By using the service, you acknowledge these inherent risks.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 10 Minute Files and its operator shall not be liable
for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related
to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from data loss,
service outages, security incidents, unauthorized access, or misuse of the platform.
You use 10 Minute Files at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with the service, your sole
remedy is to discontinue use.
10 Minute Files is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee
uninterrupted availability, reliability, or performance of the service. Use at your own risk.
